The L in liberty is almost gone in the original pic and is very sharp in the coin you received.

Mark on the bridge of the nose near the eye, three marks in the field in front of the nose/lips, mark between the bun and star, mark between stars 11 & 12, three marks on the neck - all look close enough to the same to me. I think it's the same coin.

Found the auction lot online https://www.auctionzip.com/auction-...t_5264529A0E

I think they sent you the same coin, your photos are much smaller and taken at a different angle than the original shots were. It is always tough to tell things like doubling when the coin is imaged at a slight angle with a handheld camera, due to the not enough light the camera shutter speed is too low to compensate for exposure getting enough light to the sensor, so hand shake is induced. All coins should be shot directly straight on perpendicular to the film/sensor plane and with adequate lighting with the camera on a solid no moving tripod or stand of some sort, this auctioneer obviously has cheapened out and is using either a point and shoot or phone camera at best to take these photos. Also who ever is shooting their photos is no expert or if they call themselves one they should be ashamed. Not a single image on their auction site has the correct white balance, that is just sad.

At the price you paid it isn't a bad price either for an EF grade coin, unless the S&H charge was outrageous. I'd just move on, no harm no foul, and just not deal with them again. You see these grades of coins like this one at the EAC convention in boxes your pick at $35.00 in fact one of the good guy EAC dealers offers them on his website, Pierre Fricke, granted the $25 bucket is his highest priced now, but he usually has another level of coins at the convention at $35 or $40 you pick.

I wouldn't slab it myself, I might send it to Bob Grellman for an attribution though, he used to accept coins for a smaller fee than the TPGs (around $5.00 + postage) to do so, I do NOT have his contact info though.

An 18% buyers fee at an unknown auction website? I say: run away!

Looks like they oiled it up for the picture, then wiped it off.
