The center penny (1999) is copper color. The pennies around it is a bronze color. Are the ones that are bronze color worth keeping. They really stand out when in a bag of other pennies. Hopefully you can see the difference in The colors

Copper can take on all kinds of subtle shades in different environments. These are all quite normal, though several seem in nice condition and are worth keeping.

Most of the outer coins are the 95% copper type (except the '82-D), whereas the center is copper-plated zinc. It's also the newest of the bunch. Those two things may have something to do with the color difference.

Your 1999 is plated in pure copper, your other coins are actually made of bronze. Seems like they appear as they should.

That '59-D seems to be in pretty good shape. If these were mine, I'd probably save that one and spend the rest.

The 1982-D small date looks like a zinc cent.

If it were copper, it would be worth quite a bit of money.

Very true. The two known ones certainly don't have them.
