It looks like a 53-S to me as well. In this condition, it's worth the wholesale value of Wheat cents, which is about 3 cents. It's in very rough shape.

Very convenient that one of the rarest coins in the world would have a mangled date that could conveniently be a much more common coin. Almost like how irrefutable proof of UFOs and Bigfoot always seems to be captured on the worst, out-of-focus cameras...

Soak it in some acetone so we can all see the 53. Keep looking, I'm sure there are still some out there.
