I received this 2021p nickel as change just the other day. It appears to have doubling on Obverse within IGWT. It appears to be an image going on that can be seen within Jefferson face, around his mouth, nose and hairline. There is also what appears to be a die cracks/gouges, under WE and TRUST. The blemish under Trust looks like a split as it's not raised? The Reverse is just as busy with die chips/cracks and what appears to be doubling. Most notable on the reverse within E PLURBUS UNUM. There is a crack in the L as well as what appear to be die marks throughout and under EPU. There is a die chip/mark under the U. There is a die chip under the E and a die crack above the 2nd window running downward in the monument, throughout the doorway, starting in lower area moving into the top doorframe and into the small triangle window. There are what appear to be die chips/ markers throughout the monument. There are to many blemishes on the reverse to note them all. There also appears to be doubling throughout the window frames in the monument. Die chips/markers above and below the I and C in Monticello, below the M and O, above the V in FIVE, above the T in STATES and in and above the A in AMERICA. There is only one Doubled Die listing on Brians list for DDs, which the markers match but there is so much more going on throughout this coin. I'm looking for help understanding everything going on throughout this coin. I may be referring to the blemishes incorrectly by term but there are many errors but idk in what manner to describe the errors properly and if it is worth sending it.
Thanks

Can't tell much with those photos. Pics look "mushy" to me.

Mushy? Hmm, sounds like a underlying term there John. Lighting isn't my friend. I will try to grab a few right on the areas I'm referring to. Might need to zoom in and cut the lighting abit.

A clash on this design of Jefferson nickel is usually seen with sharp line through Jefferson's eyes and the transfer of his eyes to an area just under the Monticello.

I'm not seeing the usual clash marks on this coin. I think it may be circulation contact marks in the fields.

Here's a clash overlay that shows where to check for clash marks.

This is an image of a Jefferson with clash marks and some areas struck through oil/grease from my error collection. You can see that the clash is slightly misaligned.

Thank you for the overlay Yokozuna. The Markers seem pretty close. Is it possible for the clash to be shifted a hair? Also, I tried to get some better pics of the areas I was concerned with above. Hopefully they are alittle better.
Thanks again all.

After looking up the overlay on maddieclash myself I see that the one supplied earlier was a hair different. This nickel is a die clash by this overlay.

Die clashes affect the fields. It creates an outline of the devices from the opposite side of the coin. So taller than field devices on a coin would not be affected. Just an outline of the bust and the an outline of the building is most often seen. The eyes of the bust under the building is most often seen on this design.
