Just wanted to get an idea on this 1953 S Nickel. It looks beautiful, except the wear on the building and steps on the back. If only it had the steps. It looks great everywhere else though. What do you think?

Thanks! I think its just the lighting/picture angle I took. The fields look pretty clean for a 68 year old coin. Got it out of a coin roll from the bank.

even with the weak strike I can see it at MS63 or 64. there is only a few dollars difference between 63 and 64 so it really doesn't matter much

what at first looks like wear on the reverse is merely a weak strike, something common during the mid-1950s, MS-64, nice find

Typical 1953 S strike (without steps) I'd say MS64
