The leg of the D Mint Mark on this year quarter is fairly thick. This looks like it took a hit and pushed metal off of the leg of the D which caused the disfiguration. Not a mint error but unfortunately PMD.

Agree, a circulation hit on the mint mark moved metal. Not an error.
