Hi, just going through some 2007, 20 cent coins and have noticed on one, a skinny tilted 7 . was there different dies used or some other explanation for this,.

There were at least two dies for the 2007 20 cent platypus. They are known as the 'fat' and 'thin' seven. Neither variety are particularly scarce. The old Aussie coin forum used to have some great pictures of them, but I think they were lost when it folded.
