2021 Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Lincoln Cent?

Nicole2481 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 05/28/2021 02:23 am Was googling about 2021 Lincoln Penny errors and come across this site and forum. So first time commenting/posting. I came across about ten 2021 pennies last night in a bank roll search. Still learning about MD and DDO / DDR since starting this journey just a little over a year ago and it by far just baffles me on some coins. Any input would be appreciated. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 05/28/2021 04:21 am . It is best to start your own thread. Looks like you need to put a filter on your light source to cut back on the glare. I am not seeing a doubled die. Maybe DDD=die deterioration doubling and light induced doubling. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

From these, it looks like a combination of glare from your light source and Die Deterioration giving the impression of doubling, but a better picture would be needed to eliminate the possibility of a minor DDO. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/15/2021 4:16 pm I see Machine Doubling on both sides of the coin in opposite directions. Top of bottom on the obverse and bottom to top on the reverse. Not a doubled die. Just MD. Report this Post to the Staff
