Looking through my 1953 nickels and found this one has what looks like trails or ridges coming from the denticles. I don't think they are part of a fingerprint- they are raised what causes this? Any extra value? The obverse does not have this issue.

Nice example of a Trial Die.
They usually come of the Denticles.
