Hello experts, I've been holding on to this coming for quite sometimes now and I was wondering if someone could help me determine if this is in fact a DD and if it's worth grading it ?

Based on what I can see, this looks like Machine Doubling, however pictures of the entire coin would help.

Thank you for the fast response, I will definitely upload more photos tomorrow once I get my micro camera from the storage. Here is the thing, The L in Liberty completely attached to the rim, the I shows doubling similar to the date and the word Liberty is overall thicker, same thing with the In God We Trust. There are multiple errors on Lincoln's face and I just noticed the doubling on the reverse side of the coin!

. It is what is called a "poor mans" doubled die which is really a worn die. Not worth slabbing. John1

Lol I know what the poor man's double die is hahaha but seriously look the photos , specially the back the doubling on the rim perfectly matches the doubling the letters, same with the front, the L disappeared!

@mil, first welcome to CCF. Second, looks to me like this coin was struck from a tired die.

But seriously, it looks like circulation flattening to me, along with a tired die as Spence mentioned. to the the CCF!

At the risk of being redundant, large and sharp photos of the entire coin--obverse and reverse--would sure help. Thanks.
