Hi everyone! I just recently became interested in coin errors so I have about 0 knowledge on this. I ran across a 2007-p nickel that has a perfect circle in the middle. If held at an angle it is also noticeable on reverse side. Another thing I noticed was around the edge of coin in one spot looks different. Please if anyone can give a newbie any information I would appreciate it. I have been going through change for 2 days trying to find something interesting.

to the CCF!

It looks like this coin was on the end of the roll when it was wrapped. The jaws on the machine that crimps the paper wrapper made contact with the coin as it rotated. The ring on the obverse is Post Mint Damage or PMD. We see this on a large number of coins posted here. No value over face and not an error I'm afraid.

Keep looking and post the coins if you have questions.

The slightly flattened spot on the rev rim looks to be damage too. Keep looking though!

And welcome to CCF!
