I'm currently looking through the very first bank roll I've got in about a year. One of the last coins had a lamination flaw that stretched over the entire obverse. I turned it around to find an even better lamination on the reverse!

Pretty nice find for the first coin roll of the year.

Looks like the reverse was a thick lamination issue.

That's a fantastic lamination, SC! I find these to be far rarer on memorial cents than wheat cents, and the only ones I have found on LMCs have been from 59-mid 60s. I have never found one from the 70s and suspect they are quite rare since the metallurgy seems to have been refined a lot by then.

Thank you all! Exactly Sam! I have found a very small amount of laminations on memorial cents. That's why I was quite shocked to find such a coin.

Not only do I think this might be the most modern coin with a lamination I've found, it's also the best one. As in, this is the most severe lamination I've found in a bank roll. Sure, I've found larger lams in the Wheat cent rolls I've bought at my LSC, but to actually a large one such as this in a bank roll? Much more rare in my experience.

All in all, this was a fantastic coin to find! It gets its own special place in my binder, and because it's on a later date, I'm sure the premium is significantly more.

EDIT: Grammatical Correction
