Hi everyone! I'm fairly new, joined in February of this year. Found a 1982 D copper penny, small date (I believe),that weighs 3.1. Also, a 1982 DD ( no mint). The first one I believe is the rare one, but not sure about either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Your coin is a large date. You can tell by the distance from the 2 to the rim, the font of the 2, and the size of the 8 relative to the 2. For the small date, the 2 is farther from the rim than the width of the bottom of the 2, which yours clearly is not. Sorry.

I agree it is a large date. I see that both posts you made have blurry photos in them,we need clear photos to really help you.The better the photos you post, the better we can help you. What is your set up for taking coin photos? Maybe we can give you some tips & tricks to help.
