Okay so I was checking out this 2005 D Bison nickel cause I had heard about the many errors on this particular nickel and came across what looks like letters (possibly the word men) in the brach the bisons front feet are standing on. I uploaded a picture of it that I took with the magnifier I was using. Have any of you heard about this ppssibly being an already found error? If not, do you see what I see and what are your thoughts on this being an actual error? Thank you everyone who shares their thoughts!

All the 2005 Bison Nickels are like that.
I believe it is the Artists Initials.

Correct typo

Two sets of initials can be found on the ground under the buffalo. The first set is JNF for Jamie N. Franki, the coin's designer, and is found on the left side of the "mound."

This is NEN for the sculptor-engraver Norman E. Nemeth.

Both sets of initials are part of the design.

Edit: I incorrectly identified these initials. I corrected my information and added information about both sets of initials.
