I was given this coin by one of my co workers and she got it as a tip, she said the lady that gave it to her said a coin collector would really love it. My co worker knows I collect coins so she saved it for me. Its my first real error coin. If that's what it is I'm trying to ask around if anyone knows what happened to this coin was it at the mint or after circulation

Given the single photo posted, the coin appears to suffer from wear and damage--post strike damage. Not an error. Try removing the coin from the capsule it appears to be in, take large and sharp photos of both sides, and re-post the images. Thanks.

. Please remove coin from holder and take a full coin photo front and back and then post.

Not an error of any sort, just some kind of damage. ( PMD)
Whatever it is could not have happened during the striking of the coin.

I would say PMD. But definitely not a mint error. I could see the poorly cast fake in it though.

Looks like solder on the obverse. Definitely not an error.
