I cannot figure out what the light pink film (patina?) is on the surface of this coin It is more visible when tilted into light.
Any thoughts?

Probably a left over paint job. Try soaking it in acetone (not nail polish remover) and see if that will take it off.

Looks like post mint damage to the nine. The 'D' needs to be a closer pic. There are RPM's for this year coin.

It appears to be correct for the OMM. The 9 is very damaged.
