@darth, sorry but I'm not seeing doubling of any type. On which letter or number do you see doubling with the coin in hand?

BTW, the term is Doubled Die.

And the reason they are called doubled dies, it that doubling is on the die. So all coins struck with that die will have the same design. a doubled die is not created with by the machine, the doubling is on the die.
