I have been searching a box of brand new 2021 quarters that I got at the bank the other day. I have found 9 that look just like this one. Is this an annealing error?

This is quite interesting. I would possibly say that it could be, based on how the rim is effected. There also seems to be an indent on the bottom of the reverse that has the same color.
However this is not my area of expertise, so I would wait for other members to chime in.

Color & luster looks right and coming from the same box I would say yes, these are annealing errors. If so, nice finds!

The coins weigh between 5.59 - 5.68 grams.

If you got 9 from the box (of presumably uncirculated 2021s), I would say yes. Looks like it still has full mint luster, which is a good sign for it being an annealing error as well. Can we see a shot of the edge of the coin? If the copper core is still bright, that is a strong indication that it is an annealing error and not environmental damage.
Congrats on what appears to be some very nice finds!

Looks good to me. I'm sure the edge is as bright as all the others from the box. they haven't been out that long I doubt it to be environmental.

Here are the edges of all 9 that I have found so far in this one box. All the quarters are brand new and uncirculated. I don't think they are missing rhe clad layer. There was only one at 5.59 grams. All the others are 5.65-5.68 grams. Do annealing errors carry a premium? Do people have them graded or just put them in a flip and add to collection as a conversation piece?

They definitely carry a premium but cost a lot to get graded and would be harder to get top dollar for them without being slabbed. I think they are legit as well. And very cool!

The only way to verify one way or another is to have them graded. Please do show us the slabs when you get them back!

Edges confirm it for me. Definitely annealing errors. Great finds! I really like the color of these. The only one I've ever found is a much less interesting gunmetal color.

ANACS would be the least expensive for grading. John1
