Interesting how almost every time I find one of these it seems to be VG grade. I have bought and sold 3 of these to local coin shops in the last few months and only 1 might have eeked out a F grade. Another VG? https://www.ebay.com/itm/383301848438

6th star pointing slightly left of coronet tip. Leaf on reverse midway between S and O. Date position with 2 and 6 close together and offset to right all look correct for attribution. Got coin for $50 offer. Not going to grade vf-25 though VG-10 is more like it.

If I really enlarge the pic on my screen I think I can see that die chip by the 13th star. The sixth star position, leaf on reverse and date position are much easier to identify it as N-8

Not sure about the killing it part. I try to find and buy them for around $50 and sell them to the local shops for $100 in this grade. Not a killing but doubling your money is pretty good

@jerryc39, You find these 1826/5s faster and more often than a hungry dog finds a Milkbone!

I agree, rock solid VG-10.
