Both are 1968 S'.
My question is is the one on the left a proof or is it just in better condition?

Both coins are business strikes , the one on left has a lot more mint luster than the one on the right .

Do you think it's worth having the one on the left third party graded?

@LCMH.... IMO, I don't think it would grade high enough to justify the cost of having it slabbed.

Id say the more red one is probably lightly circulated, so in this case it is not worth it to get it graded. It would have to be in the lofty grade of at least MS-67 to 70 red for it to be worth it.

Just better condition, not a proof.

The one on the left is in better condition, but has a nasty fingerprint on it. Keep it until you can find a better one to replace it.
