Hello everyone! I'm new to valuing coins and have lots of questions. Here are 3 I'm curious of the value. 1992 D quarter has Adam's apple, 1964 D penny cut off, 1944 50 cent Philipinas.

All advice appreciated!

Appears to be intentionally removed to be passed off as an error coin or to be used for an emergency screwdriver. Use search box or glossary for Blakesley effect.

Actually this was not cut off. No it is not damage, but when the blank was clipped, that straight area was over the edge of the metal. So that is not actually cut off, but there was no metal there when it was cut. It is called a straight clip. Not the letters next to that area. When you see weakness on these devices on that area, it is a real mint error.

I don't think its a clipped cent.
I would like to see a picture of the edge first, also, no Blakey's effect noted on opposite side.

Definitely clipped. Won't show any blakely with this minor of a clip. Honestly no reason to argue in this condition.

I see rim remaining on the edge of the clip. If the planchet is clip, we will not have rims which is done in the milling process.

This it is cut or damage coin.

Come on guys. How do you cut a coin within a mm of lettering and not damage it. Again not a coin worth arguing about. Put it in a 2x2 labeled minor clip. Worth $0.25.

Still, would be interesting to see the edge of the coin. Minted04, this would be good practice for you as a new comer. Please?
