I just picked this coin up yesterday. Really curious if someone can tell me why this got a PR62: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/41784351In hand, the mirrors are great and I don't see any significant clouding, scratches or spots. Comparing to other Proof Walkers in grades up to 66 that I have I see no huge difference. So what gives?

I see multiple hair lines in the fields of the PCGS photos.

Alright. Well I'm happy with it in any case and paid a decent price. Looks way better than any other 62 I see on ebay right now.

A wonderful coin to own. If you like it that's all that really counts. You have the hardest coin of a proof set out of the way. If it were me, I would assemble a set in a 5 coin Capital Plastics Proof Set holder.

with TNG those Capitol plastic acrylic screw post holders are sweet. Especially the 5 coin proof sets. That's how all of these were presented when I started in the hobby pre TPG slab world. https://www.capitalplastics.com/

All the proofs I have from 54 back are slabbed. Figured whenever I go to sell, it'll be a lot easier that way plus it's a lot safer to know that I'm buying quality given the price of some of these early ones.

That is a sure beauty , hair lines were a little too obvious . I would have liked if it were lighter in color . No problem , you have one gorgeous Lady there !

Hairlines on obverse and bit of a weak strike on reverse hold it back. Hard to tell from photos but you may have a "no AW" on reverse version, doesn't really matter since they don't bring a premium.

Hairlines stand our exceptionally well on proof coins PR-62 OK.
Nevertheless, I would love to own this coin due to the fact that is a proof, it is exceptionally well struck and shows no wear on the high points.
If you wish to get it re graded then do so, but I see no point in taking this action unless you wish to sell it. It may? get a 63.
