Looks to be Chinese cash, but I'm no expert - what we need are photos that have the entire front (obverse) and back (reverse) showing without being clipped at the edges. These photos aren't good enough to let the coin image database do it's job in attempting a match. Even though it's worn down there does appear to be enough detail left to make identity easy enough for someone with more experience in Asian coinage.

Closest I can get, is possibly on this page?

Much better! Still no luck but it's fun to look, I'm betting this is the size of a US Quarter? Give or take a few millimeters?

That backwards "Z" looking character should make it easier to find out of the hundred or so different ones made. Any idea of the composition? Iron is the primary type of meta used, so it corrodes badly. Of course China make many fakes of their own coins also so not to rule out it could be a contemporary counterfeit just as easily as being from the 1200 or earlier.

yeah its always fun to look around. I normally end up off track and in a hole different country of coins. but the size of this one is actually little bit larger than a US half dollar.

oh sorry I'm not sure of the composition although you cant see it in the photos. there is a scratch near the center hole and it looks kind of like brass.

It's not an official mainstream coin. The "backwards-Z character" is "ping", which makes me think it might be Taiping Rebellion related, though it could just be a crudely made charm of some kind. "Tai Ping tong bao" unofficial coins are also known from Palembang, Indonesia.
