My friend is trying hard to use his knowledge. But because of his stroke over a year ago, some information in his head is just not working properly any longer. So, he asked me for help at a very late stage while he is trying to dispose of what's left of his collection. he sold a good part already to People whom he thought were his friends. Sadly, it turned out, he was wrong as they were not his friends. one of these "friends" came together with a local dealer who is described by many with not-so-nice words.
He took all the ML silver and gold, and other silver by denomination x8. there is not much left now. Just a few pieces in a "special drawer" his wife kept, plus some common stuff.
this NF $2 is part of what's left.
Can you guys please grade this $2 and possibly make comment if needed?
thank you all
H

I am assuming your freind was compensated, but not fairly. Financial abuse can be a criminal act in canada, especially if the person is incapacitated and the other party knows it. I'm not sure where you live, but the numbers at the bottom of the this link may help https://cba.ca/financial-abuse-what...-to-get-help

I hope you are someone close to your friend is able to call. Some people need to be held to account for their actions.

As for the coin, looks like a nice AU.

Thank you Guys for your well-meant suggestions.
My friend is not incapacitated to a point where he is incapable to speak or think for himself. He is just very, very slow and sometimes gets thoughts a bit mixed up. And then his words come out slow and also mixed up... BUT more often. he can chat (nearly) as years ago.
It is very difficult for me to experience this.
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do as he does have Family and they seem not concerned at all.
From what I understand from him, some of his old Canadian notes are in his immediate family's care for some time already and since way before he had the stroke.
now a sidebar:
how can I get rid of a whole bunch of little flies attacking my glass of Merlot?
any secret recipes?
