This poor coin is just about completely corroded away. Found it in a large lot of foreign coins I'd picked up years ago. At the time I had started to discard it but noticed I could make out a bit of the features. Head facing right on the obverse, a grazing horse on the reverse. I see hints of lettering around the edge of the obverse, and over (and maybe below) the horse, but nothing legible. Just out of curiosity I started searching and the closest I could find was a type of Alexandria Troas (Gallienus). I know there's not much to work with and this is worthless except maybe as a curiosity, but any thoughts? Thanks! By the way, it's about 22mm and just over 5g.

I know nothing about them, but your guess of Alexandria Troas looks pretty good with Gallienus or Valerian I. The bust seems to be laureate and the right outline. The COL above the horse seems to be there. Roughly the right size too https://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/ae...Default.aspx

Thanks, John! I'll have to take a closer look at the remnants of the obverse inscriptions to see if I can possibly make anything out that might give me a clue...

EDIT: I looked with a bright light angled across the surface of the coin, and I can definitely make out a COL and part of another letter above the horse. After looking at the obverse with the light, I remember now why I thought it was Gallienus instead of Valerian I; while I can't make out the individual letters, it appears faint remnants of an inscription continue above the head, while on the Valerian I (as shown on your link) there is a gap in the inscription over the top of the head. I wouldn't bet on it, though, as it may just be some aspects of the corrosion and I'm "seeing" letters that may not be there...
