Hello, I was looking on Etsy for some hilarious coin listings & came across this. https://www.etsy.com/listing/105204...041819&frs=1It's listed for about $825 in PCGS VF35. The website says the highest you can sell it for $2,400. Steal? I feel like I'm missing out on something. Can any professional guide me on what I should do if I were to consider buying it? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Not entirely sure I understand the question here.

Sorry about that. I guess the question I wanted to ask is if I should trust the seller?

When it seems too good to be true it usually is. There are deals out there so you maybe got lucky. Seller has one other sale.

I just found the same image on a ton of other sites for the correct amount of money. Good thing I didn't get my hopes up!

I can't even find the report button for the seller OR the item. Hopefully, nobody buys it.

Probably a fake slab. The PCGS number is not a valid number on the PCGS cert verification site.

Seems to be a valid cert but fraudulent listing, especially if you've found the same coin listed elsewhere!

Etsy? Really? Scam City. It's no better than Penny Saver or Craigslist crap. Don't be a victim.

Interesting ...
The item is in Spain, the seller does not appear to be a coin dealer. Possibly they are unaware the value is much higher (if real).
But yeah, only 1 previous sale?
According to the PCGS auction database, 4 examples of 1889-CC Morgans graded VF-35 have sold this year, in a narrow price range from $1920-2040.
Sounds like you could make a few bucks. Or lose 825

Quote: Sounds like you could make a few bucks. Or lose 825 With all the the potential issues you listed, tdziemia, plus the big red flag of it being on Etsy, I'd bet very heavily on the "lose 825" side of the equation .

Northern Nevada Coin - is a good shop, Allen Rowe is the owner as to your post with the link to them. The Etsy deal is a fake, scammer trying to rip off unsuspecting buyers. Long time well known scam.

Quote: Northern Nevada Coin - is a good shop Agreed. I've not done a lot of business with them, but never have had any issues. I suspect the OP was just showing the similarity in price between the reasonably-priced Northern Nevada coin at VG8 and the scam Etsy coin graded at VF35...

I get that, I just wanted to make sure Allen stores weren't misaligned in this discussion.
