SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 07/18/2021 1:07 pm The spread line on the RPM is formed by the valley between two narrowly separated, rounded imprints of the device, while the coin you posted has a flat, shelf-like second impression indicative of Machine Doubling. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/18/2021 2:46 pm The area in the lower loop is mintmark punch damage. It is not considered a RPM as it is not a repunching issue, but a damaged mintmark punch issue. You can see this on all denominations on that year. All the other denominations are proofs.
