I believe the thing they are describing as DDR-005 is the shadowy doubling that looks like DDD to me. Yours does not appear to have the DDR, but I agree that your coin is a DDO.

Can you give us a closeup of the right wheat tips and what you left out of EPU?
If you just get a nice clean shot of the right wheat tips though, that should tell us everything we need to know, as this would be the strongest doubling. I do not see any matching die gouges between yours and the listing and there are significant ones that can be seen on both.

I really think you have the reverse with the DDR but it's such a light spread, I'm still having a hard time with it. Maybe someone else will chime in or as you said, possibly have a copy that you could match up some markers. I'm sorry that I'm not more help.

Excellent images and thanks for the links. Those help us check the markers quicker. In Stage C (on VV) the reverse dies were changed out so you could have the obverse variety without the reverse doubling.
Your first image of the right wheat tip does show some slight extra thickness on the outer line. I'm confident you have the correct variety. Congrats.

I would submit this one to coppercoins as they have not listed the DDO for this die yet. Also ask them about the reverse. I'm not seeing a DDR there, but light marks on the tops of the devices. No spread that is noticed. That I can see. But images of the a wider view would be helpful. That way I could make side by sides with a normal coin. If there is spread there, then it will see on a side by side. Images of: 1. E dot PLURI 2. RIBUS 3. S dot UNUM A wider view would be more helpful. On the Liberty area, it looks like the hub may have been breaking down when the die was being created. Thus the multiple lines of breakdown on which would not appear on a doubled die issue as several doubling on just that area. So I'm going to see if thus us seen on other dies that year? Seems that a Single line on the top of the 'BE' is common on both business strikes and proofs. I did find one coin without it though. So there may have been a hub/hubs issue on that years coins? Stay tuned for for information. Note on all these examples the same broken hub damage is seen. On one I found it was normal that was listed on PCGS site. (I saved the image and have not found it yet in my files) But on the Big DDO, the Liberty looks normal. So I feel it is a damaged working hub/hubs. Not a master die issue. Just something I noticed because of the DDO posted here showed something that I had not noticed before.

Edit: Is Chuck accepting submissions?

They have several new listings, so I would think so.
