Yes comical looking, however just PSD. Your coin came in contact with the edge of another reeded coin, most likely right after being minted.

We ask for overall photos of both sides of your coin, then close-ups of areas of interest. Why? Many times there are other issues you may have over looked, and/or "markers" for certain errors. I agree yours here is just post mint damage ( PMD). Keep searching!
