I have 15 US quarters ranging from 2010 to 2013. The face and reverse have a plastic coating, they are partially gold plated and feel lighter then average quarter. Is there any value to these quarters? I have attached a pic as an example

To the CCF

Those would be aftermarket decorated coins by a third
party that would have no collectors value.

They often do that to steel cents and call it a "rose proof" and a "24k gold proof". Just a coin to put in the plated bag now.

It is usually incorrect to state that something has NO collector value. Some people collect those, although probably not that many. It might be worth 50 cents to $1 to someone who likes the look of it.

What is the actual weight of this coin?
As for added value? no, probably not much, These coins are more of a curiosity to some that collect these and put them under glass for display.

I was never really attracted to 'plated; or ;colorized' coins. I enjoy the true nature of the coin in its natural state.
