I recently picked up this 1924 D Lincoln Cent. I am not aware of frequent alterations on this coin but something looks a little funny to me with the "4." Might just be a weak strike. Should I be concerned? Thanks.

Looks genuine. The coin has honest wear, and a natural brown color. Also no major reason why somebody would fake this coin. A picture of the reverse could help.

Vending machines may have flattened all the devices on the coin that are hear the rim areas.

Some circulation flattening, but otherwise, looks to be a normal coin.
