Thequeen New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 07/27/2021 3:23 pm I have separate containers for 1972 , 1969, 1992, 1955's and about every year and mint there is.. what is a organised way to actually go through all these coins and identify them? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/27/2021 3:43 pm Well I store the same years in tubes. That saves more space. Look up each year for variety coins, so you will have a guide as to what to look for on these, for that year/mint. Report this Post to the Staff

RobertRansom Valued Member United States 68 Posts	Posted 07/27/2021 3:45 pm The most logical way, IMO, is to buy a RedBook and pick one year, then begin by looking at the coin and comparing it to the one listed in the book. PCGS, NGC and other coin grading guides can be helpful. Report this Post to the Staff

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 07/28/2021 1:37 pm Use the Red Book to identify what they should look like, then the reference sites already mentioned for anything unusual looking. Realise, not every coin is an error coin. Error coins are rare and not common. Keep this is mind and you'll do well. Report this Post to the Staff
