I have no idea of the composition of the holder. This coin is in the way to be destroy by the oxidation.

Look east of the flame and then the AMERICA letters, all start to be take out by oxide.

If was an toning, the high part of the coin will be not affected by colors (your coin do not has the toning spectrum)
