Please no monitor shots. They are way too pixelated to be of help. Use your camera directly to photography your coin. Even older phones cameras can zoom in and do a fine job.

It's not your imagination but it's normal for this series of Lincolns, the devices were thicker. The majority of the 60's looked this way and you will find that different years share the same attributes while others are very different. It will come with time.
