I found this very nice looking Kennedy half that is looks to have good cameo and solid mirroring having a solid gold tone on both sides.
Is this good, bad, don"t know what to do with this one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Looks like a proof coin, I wonder if it was held in a sub-par album and had gotten toned from the materials it was held in.. I have seen that happen to proof nickels in Whitman albums..

There are a lot of gold plated Kennedy half dollars out there. I suspect it is one of those. The coating looks too even to be from chemical toning.

I thought the same thing at first but it has the frosted devices and mirrored fields. Can they do that to a plated coin? I wouldn't think so. I think it's just toned too.

Can you get us a full coin shot of the obverse and reverse, cropped? Not at an angle, straight on.

A nicely toned proof Kennedy half dollar. If toned coins are not your bag, sell or trade it. I would not spend it; there are plenty of people who appreciate them.

I agree with jbuck. I like toned coins myself, and would keep it and add to my set. Not your to your like then sell. Really nice Kennedy half..

If you're "not into" toned coins, trade it at your local coin shop. Don't expect much in return, but trade it for something you are "into".
