Oh for God sakes ; this gorgeous example would have to be marred by that darn hit on reverse right above the N in one Can't ask for much better hair and beard on a Wheat cent although early Wheaties were nicely struct . MS-65+RB .

Nice 1916-D! The strike is solid. The die states differ a bit, but that isn't a distraction. On the obverse, rim dings at 4:00 and 6:00 and shoulder surface scratches are the main issues. On the reverse, dings on the "O" and above the "N" of ONE are the main issues. The reverse die polishing suggests die clashing with its previous obverse die. IMHO, it's a solid PCGS MS-64. I can't tell from the pics if it makes RB, but it sure has eye appeal.

Well, the trueviews are kind of off in this coins case in my opinion, and look much darker than the coin in hand, the rim hit isn't as obvious, I assume due to lighting angle and shadowing? Anyways, here's some pics I took through a loupe.

I honestly don't know how they accomplished those colors...I can't pull them out of it under any kind of lighting...
