Lookingfortheone New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 08/02/2021 01:39 am Hello I have a 1948 Lincoln Wheat cent that I belive to be a DDO that It appears to have doubling not of Machine Doubling but I am still new at identifying these to 100% certainty so on the 1948 I will share the parts I think confirm ! Quote: Description: Light and faint doubled eyelid South. So all the devices on these images are normal, just the eye lid is the only area that is a doubled die. I found a 1948-S with a DDO, but it is also minor: But I agree with the theory about this being flattening on the coin. Maybe more of a case of coin flattening. All the devices are altered the same.
