1895 Indian Cent/ Would This Be Considered A Digit Punch Variety?

No problem I'll get that reverse image available later today.. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of wexler's die variety but there's a whole section on that website that refers to RPMs ODVs MMVs and refers to the term digit punch variety within that section multiple times as well as the term logo punch.. but your observation as far as the coin being in rough condition is correct although I was hoping for a more educated response hopefully from someone that is familiar with the terms I'm referring to or at least is able to pick out the obvious beyond rough condition details in the pic I have already provided like maybe the date where it says 1295 rather than the date I posted 1895.. if I understand you remember correctly the most sought after Indian Head scent of the series as well as the most valuable is exactly referred to as being one of the digit punch variety in Wexler die varieties.. however there's very limited examples of these varieties and therefore that was the purpose for my inquiry.. I hope I have responded in a way that might enlighten you to realize that even a coin buried in one's backyard is a coin worth learning from

Not entirely clear what your point is here, but with respect, surely you're not suggesting that the date on this coin is 1295? I hope not.

This cent is terminally corroded and it is basically impossible to determine whether it is an unusual variety. Every old coin has some level of appeal but this one has negligible monetary value.

As someone who actively pursues digit punch varieties in the Indian Head cent series, I cannot tell you that the coin pictured is a digit punch variety or RPD. As others have stated, it is terminally corroded and there certainly was no variety that made the "8" look like a "2". That is just the corrosion playing tricks on you.

Keep looking for them though, its pretty awesome when you find some as cherrypicks.
