I am hoping to have a package valued at about $3000 US shipped from the US to Canada.

I accept that it will probably attract taxes once it gets here. My main concern is that it gets here safely.

It will probably weigh of the order of 7-10 pounds. Coins, so that gives you some idea of the bulk. No fragile.

Sent by an individual.

I would want it insured and I would assume that would include a signature on my end.

Sender has to insure it if insurance is what you want .
Signature is a good idea .
We get volumes of US mail , never a problem
but can be slow lately .
Major NGC return on its way , 3 weeks but finally
arrived at Canada Customs this AM .

So, is it typically sent by regular US mail (USPS)? Any $ limits for insurance?
