I was just wondering everyone's opinion I know geography has a lot to do with it (if your close to the border or whatnot) I'm east coast of Canada.Who do u think finds more of the others currency when coin roll hunting.
When we still had pennies and I could get them and I use to search them I'd find a crap load (yes that is an actual Canadian measurement) of American pennies always threw em back should of checked them at least.
And when I would search nickels (which I only every looked for the pure nickel, nickels just to keep I got a bucket downstairs lol) which I should check some day cause I found a extra water line one (think was a1964)in the first hand full I looked through, haven't looked thru anymore (I'm a quarter guy mostly).
I know I'm rambling anyway I found a lot of American nickels to,only kept a couple I found that had buffaloes I think on them haven't looked at them in forever tucked away somewhere.
Anyway who do u think finds more.

Seems like most of the "crossover" coins end up in border towns and "snowbird cities". I don't live in either and rarely encounter Canadian coinage — especially since the abolition of the one-cent piece.

I'm in Southwestern Virginia and search mostly Lincoln bank rolls. In an average box, I probably find 15 to 20 Canadian cents, about the same as wheat cents. Mostly Queen Elizabeth but every now and then a King George. My oldest find is a 1921 King George (small cent). I did some research when I found it and discovered it was a transitional year from the large cent to the small cent, so a pretty cool find, this far south.

I live just ten miles north of Canada, so I do come across Canadian coins often, though not as much recently.
Ten years ago it would be common to find a Canadian coin every three or four rolls of USA coins. Lately I've actually been shocked to only find two or three in a CASE. Either Covid is keeping the Canadian coins in Canada, or the companies that roll the coins are doing a better job with pulling the 'weeds' out of the US rolls.
