WOAH! Not sure if you noticed this, but your coin has the mis-placed date MPD Snow-6 FS-302, which is pretty rare. See the variety here: https://www.indianvarieties.com/cen...882-mpd-003/The big TPGs do recognize this variety (because it is listed in the cherry-picker's guide as FS-302) and it brings a hefty premium over a regular 1882, and your coin is extra nice. Not sure if you care much about the variety, but it is rare and desirable and should bring a nice premium, especially on such a nice coin. Congrats! -CH27

CoinHunter, Nice eyes! That is why I bought it. It is indeed one highly collected and pretty rare variety. I picked one about a year ago in an NGC MS64RB holder too. This one is not going to be as nice, but its still way up there in the census for this variety!

Glad you noticed it (and appreciate the variety)! I believe I remember that 64 you scored a while back. Congrats!

An oddball color, I'll go with AU details questionable color. If straight, maybe AU55 or 58. Not much rub in this coin.

I will have the coin in hand this week and will get some better pics up. I'm optimistic that it will look better in hand. Sellers photos kind of looked flat and cant see the luster. I'm at high AU, probably altered color, but it was worth every bit of what I paid.

T-Bop, You are seeing the numerous extra 1s punched into the pearls, not damage. That is the variety being mentioned.

Coin came in this morning, and as expected, it does look better in hand. Still has some nice luster left and while splotchy, it does look original.
