This has just arrived, it was sealed in one of those eighties TPG sleeves that you've probably seen before, AGA. I've removed it to get better photos. I'll show the grade it was given in a few days but what do we think? There's a dint in the eagle's chest but is it a dint or a die error? To be honest it really does not look like coin damage, and I am sure it is a gap in the die... hmmm

I took a photo of each side using different angles for the light to show scratches better. Thanks in advance :)

Quite a few marks on the face, I'd say MS-62. That mark on the lower breast is odd, either damage or an unusual strike through. I'm leaning towards a single hammer strike to the reverse, which might explain all the abrasions on the obverse.

I'm in agreement with MS62 and possibly Struck Through Grease.

62 The flat spot on eagle's breast appears to have happened during the minting process.

MS62+ for me--I suspect AGA didn't opt for pluses. The eagle doink is curious--thinking it's a die issue. Everyone, pull out you'85 Os and take a look.

AGA-63. Strong strike for the date, but I would say MS-62

I have to call it au58 due to the eagles breast and the high points of the hair.

decent strike for this year. not enough hits for a 62 grade. not clean enough for a 64. by process of elimination I'm at MS63. albeit on the lower end

Thanks for the responses!
Sidekick, could I see a photo? That is interesting, I wonder how many coins have the same mark? Maybe it was only 100, or maybe 10,000. I found this from doing a google search: http://goccf.com/t/6068

Also, it's not often I disagree with the majority on here but I do think it cannot be MS62. The breast dent is clearly due to the die, so therefore should not affect the numerical grade, and only damage and wear to the coin after it was minted is surely relevant? The coin in hand is really nice, and the strike is really good. The scratches on the cheek look worse on the close up photos but they are not deep at all. I personally grade is MS63+. I've got a couple of MS62s to compare it to and they have much more wear and less lustre. This TPG actually gave it a MS65! But we know they are hardly accurate.

Very interesting variety or possible mint error on the reverse. As for grade, I'd say a strong 63. Nice luster but she's a bit baggy.

Don't see anything listed on VAMWORLD which would fit this.
