Found this fairly nice 1972P and after checking Lincoln Cent Resources (my goto for 1972 DDO's) and CopperCoins, the coin resembled a DDO-5 based on the date and in god we trust. Interesting as That is something I did not know. Why would it remain on Lincoln Cent Resources or on Copper Coins without clarifcation? Report this Post to the Staff

I was wrong about the amount too, Wexler estimates 60 to 70% of coins minted this year are this die. Yours is not DDO-005.
