Hi I found this penny and I do not know if it's small or large. It lines up perfectly the 1 8 2 but I do not know if that is enough.

That is a Large Date.
Use the search box in the upper left column for lots of information
on how to identify the differences.
This is probably the most asked question on any coin forum.
