I can try and get a better picture, the first single music not the coin seems to have either a ding or a double die happening but I know nothing and have no examples yet. I think it's actually a DD
I may be being optimistic lol, but from what iv leaner the line through the nite is a sign of DD also it looks wider then normal and is curved so I am guessing not a ding.
I know these State Quarters have lots of minor double dies that hold a small premium 5-20$, is this a true DD?
Here's another image, I can't get a super clear shot though
dosnt look like a ding to me, looks like a serif or w.e it's called on double dies because it curves with the music note. I'm probably wrong lol but I'll let the experts chime in.
I'm surprised no one has chimed in for 4+ hours lol, mayb all the double die experts are busy lol. I ll see if I can get a more clear shot, iv yet to be right about a double die so my hopes aren't high:p
All the experts might be at work so I'll chime in. That is not a DD. It has taken a hit splitting the bottom of the note. Notice the last note has also taken a hit which flattened it.
Don't think it's MD, iv seen DD examples(not The same coin) that look exactly the same. I think even if this is doubled died no one would be able to tell from my pics and just assume it's damage. I'll put it aside until I can get better images.
