Bumpkin Pillar of the Community United States 509 Posts	Posted 08/17/2021 1:19 pm . I say this because of the looks of the rim, especially from the 1 to 6 o'clock position on the Obverse. A Proof strike should have very well defined, almost squared off and sharp edged, rims. Yours actually looks like an extremely minor, and I mean extremely MINOR, MAD. The rim on your coin appears to be somewhat thin in the location I quoted above. I'm thinking this is normal business strike but still a nice Cent! The background is just wasted space, and the added benefit, your coins will be enlarged so we can see them better. I agree, not a proof, just a nice business strike cent.
