Good evening! Can someone please explain why these 2 pennies look way different. I spotted the 2 and rims to be way different and if anyone has info on these coins. Can you please share with me

The bottom Cent in your first picture is what is referred to as a Misaligned Die or MAD for short. This happens when the hammer die, or obverse die, is slightly out of alignment during the striking process. This results in a rim that is not perfect in size and shape in its entirety thus producing a result that looks off centered. However, an off centered strike is also a completely different occurrence, but close to, a MAD.

Actually, now that I looked at your first coin closer, they both appear to be MAD strikes. The top coin pictured is an extremely slight misaligned die strike but the bottom coin is a bit more pronounced. Neither coin is worth a premium but they are really neat to keep and put in a 2x2.

Nice MAD's. You may take a look at COC to get an idea of what I'm talking about but it looks like you make have a Rim Cud on the lower coin obverse, at 10 o'clock. It could just be a fold over too, need close up of that area.
