Many thanks in advance for your grading opinions on this 1828 Capped Bust quarter.

Variety B-1, the most commonly seen for the year.

Thank you!

Id estimate this one to be around XF-40/45, which puts the value about 1500 dollars from PCGS coinfacts.

Yet another good eye appeal example, no distractions. Choice XF40 for me

Thank you all for your opinions so far.

This is an interesting coin because the wear is quite obvious, but the surfaces still retain a nice amount of luster one would not expect at this wear level.

some weakness which is typical. i'll put it in the XF45 box based on the overall sharpness of the coin . I'm sure GERMANICVS will call it less maybe XF40 net for strike

Thank you, all.

I am actually at EF45 myself as well. This is a nice Capped Bust quarter (even if I say so myself).

I'll say XF-40. This is a very nice looking coin.
