More likely a vending machine. Could be 1942, 1948 or 1949.

Or a Gumball Machine. If Frog gets 3 guesses, I'm going to take 4... '42,'43,'45, or'48 . What will we win?

I wish I could tell you what year it was but I don't know. I have my guesses. The only year I would assume it isn't is 1943. But man if it was though... hahaha. Not sure I've been here long enough to do contests. But I could put up a prize (if possible) if someone could figure it out beyond a shadow of a doubt.

After looking at all of the color shifted images, I am almost certain: 1942.

1947. (Image #8 green) Looks like an old coin wrapper damage or a vending machine damaged coin.

Going have to go with a 1947. One observation, which I think I am looking at correctly on normal business struck 1942 vs 1947 Lincolns, is the location and placement of the number 4 in the date. The 1942 strike appears to have a noticeably elevated and higher placement of the 4 in the date compared to the 1947 struck Cent which appears a tad bit lower in relation to its adjacent numbers in the date. Looks like whatever hit the number came up from 'under' the number in an upward motion which caused the small 'piling up' and tiny 'ramp' of material in the North to Northeast position which would only be possible with a 'hit' from this direction, especially the formation of what I referred to as a 'ramp'. Not seeing remnants of where the vertical bar of a 2 would have been but I am seeing the flattening of what appears to be the bottom of the number 7 at the lowest bottom right, or South/Southeast, position. Pretty cool trying to figure this one out Atog! This pic of yours was awesome and what made me think it is a 7..... but will we truly every know? Fun post!

Thanks! I thought it'd be fun trying to figure it out! Coin detectives! Some thing did catch the coin in a counter clockwise motion on the obverse. I am in the camp of 42, 45, 49. The 47 doesn't hook down on the end. And to me I don't see a 7 being distorted that much. But I could be wrong. I wish there was a way to find out for sure what date it was. A better look at the rest of the obverse.
