This is my first post. Thanks for the welcome. A better photo would be needed to make a determination I'm sure. I only have my phone, no other means of magnifying a coin. Guess what I'm asking is if it's close enough to be looked into further

You need to post a sharp full coin photo . I can't see a spear either .

Quote: I'm Brand New To Collecting. Seems The More I Learn The Less I Know. to CCF! This statement is a true sign you are well on your way. I've been a collector for most of my life and I'm a pretty old feller. I still learn something new everyday, whether in coins or everyday life. I don't see a speared bison here. I'm sure you can find an example online to compare with your coin.

Not even a FS-# for this. MS-65 $375.00 Noted on the slab though. Just a die event.

After looking at the examples that were posted I'm guessing what I see is a coincidence scratch.
I really do appreciate the responses. I'm hoping the picture I uploaded gives a better example of what I'm seeing. I will no doubt do some upgrading very soon. Thanks again

I use my phone camera for almost all my photos to present here. I have learned to use the zoom or micro function to be able to hold the phone up further away in order for it to get a better focus. Holding my phone up about 1.5 to 2 feet above the coin and zooming in to fill the screen then letting auto focus to do its work will help you immensely. Now I'm using a modern smart phone not a flip. not sure how the cameras on those work.
